It was old and was known as hot spring health resort which was written to Manyoshu tanka collection, and many cultured people visited Yugawara for rest in the times of Showa.
“East broad perspective, west home Otori” and Japanese painter, Seiho Takeuchi and Western picture painter, Soutarou Yasui commented on mind atelier and house in this ground in later years, and production is active.
In addition, Japanese painter, Reiji Hiramatsu playing an active part as central figure of modern Japanese painting has attachment in this ground and announces as cover picture of monthly “Bungeishunju Ltd.”.
