Then we explain how to get on buses in Japan.
Unlike some Chinese buses, Japanese bus is deferred payment. We will learn it.
And we recommend because chip card (PASMO and SUICA) is very convenient.
At first when we use chip card.
When you get on, please touch reading machine in near door with chip card.
When you go down, please touch reading machine (in the left hand side of conductor).
Then fare is deducted automatically.
But we cannot use chip card by some buses. We cannot but use rearranging ticket then.
When we get on, we take one piece of rearranging ticket which is very close to door. Big number is written on rearranging ticket.
When we go down, we confirm fare with number of rearranging ticket and number of fare indication machine that there is bus ahead and put coin and rearranging ticket in fare box together. We can exchange money with changemaker of fare box if coin is not enough.
We push getting off button which is next to seat when we want to get off at the next station. Because you just pass without bus stopping when we do not push, please be careful.
Then let’s share experience when we get on bus for the first time with everybody.
[getting off button] We did not notice on getting off button and thought whether it stopped at all bus stops first. When we pushed getting off button in a hurry, two stations have already ridden past their stop, too. . . [changemaker] Though it was written that it was changemaker, we did not notice! We thought whether change was paid if we paid for 1,000 yen, and it rained without just paying bus fare.
To conductor as for “exchanging money anou, visitor, it” was hailed to from behind. . .
We were ashamed!
Everybody, please learn how to get on buses not to disgrace itself!
