There is a broad beach with white sands at Kakizaki of Shimoda City, Shizuoka, the beach is covered with fine white sands stretch for about 470 meters. This beach is filled with people form middle July to end of August every year. People came here during summer season to enjoy the sun and funny beach activities.
However the beach is off season now, it is much deserted now in October. I saw several elderly men fishing at the seaside, winds blew from the sea with a tinge of salt. With the deserted atmosphere, Beach of Sotoura actually felt unique for me with the tranquility. The wave seems can wash off all pains of the world, with a power to heal and calm people.
I arrived the beach at 12 p.m., the old men were still concentrating on the fishing don’t seem want to leave. People are two busy in this modern time, we need more place like this beach without any hurriedness and rush.
