Atami Baien Momiji Festival 2015

Atami Baien (plum garden) is famous for its beautiful scenery of earliest plum blossoms in Japan and it is also a well-known autumn red leaves viewing spot.
There are 380 maple trees planted in the garden, due to the warm weather conditions, the tree leaves turn red and yellow at the late season of November and December, which is said to be the last red leaves of Japan every year.
The early-flowering plum trees begin flowering as early as mid-November, you may have a chance to enjoy both red leavers and plum flowers.
During the Momiji Festival, you can enjoy foot bathes and get a chance to participate in the Photo Contest of Atami Baien Momiji Festival, there will be other events such as Momiji Light-ups.
