Intangible Cultural Asset of the Prefecture “Ritual Tiger Dance” at Kinomiya Shrine

A ritual dance that is carried out every year as a autumn festival of Kinomiya Shrine which based on a vigorous theater scene of tiger conquest.
It is performed on the night of August 14 in the old calendar, and it’s a property designated as an intangible cultural asset of Shizuoka Pref. In good harvest year the dragon appears too and perform “A Dance Of Dragon And Tiger”.
