The 71th Atami Baien Plum Festival

Atami Baien (plum garden) is famous for its beautiful scenery of earliest plum blossoms in Japan and its late autumn red leaves.
The garden was opened in 1886. There are 58 varieties of 473 long lived plum trees with more than 100 years history. (data released by Atami City as of December 2014)
Followed by plum flowers, there will also be cherry blossoms and green leaves in spring and red leaves in autumn, this is a garden where you can enjoy season beautiful scenes throughout the year.
The garden has several tourist spots include Umemi-no-taki Waterfall, Nakyama Shinpei Memorial Hall, Korean Garden and Sawada Seiko Memorial Museum.
