A special custom which increase the number of Jozo statues constantly
Kosodate Jizo is known as “the goddess of child-sending” since late Edo era.
People wish to have a child brings one Jizo statue home, praying every day to the goddess to bring a child to them. After the child born, they bring a new statue along with the old one back here and say thanks to the goddess.
Small jizo approximately 200 bodies spread close to the jizo statue carved into the rock face for the various size and facial features.
Oneness oneness that honor and mysteriously become happy.
