A park where many wild birds gathered here.
It is a park constructed on the ruins of water channel of Nirayama Castle. There is a large pond in the park, many wild birds gathered here, it also is best for bird watching. (Also contains a bird watching hut)
The park is called Shinsui Park which means to get know and familiar with the water in Japanese. You can enjoy water play during summer. There is a playground contains slides and other equipment.

Getting there | – By car Drive via Route 136, turn to Nirayama Station direction at Yasaki-Jinjya intersection. Drive straight for 500 meters to reach the entrance of the park. You can walk to Etogawa Mansion and Historical Museum from there for about 2 or 3 minutes. – By train and bus Get off at Nirayama Station of Izu-Hakone-Tetsudo Line, walk for 1.3 km from there. (Walk from the station for 15 to 20 minutes, or take a bus) * Nearest Station: Nirayama Station (by train), Nirakou-mae bus stop (by bus) |
