This is a well-established aquarium formerly known as Nakanoshima Aquarium which was the first aquarium in Japan to keep bottlenose dolphins in 1930s. The top attraction of this aquarium is the amazing shows performed by dolphins and sea lions.

Getting there | – By car From Numazu IC of Tomei Expressway, drive via Route 136 and Izu-Chuo Road (Izu-nagaoka IC), for 25km (about 40 minutes) – By train From Mishima Station of Tokaido line, take a taxi for approx. 30 minutes. Or change to Izu-Hakone-Tetsudo Line from Mishima Station, get off at the nearest station Izu-nagaoka Station, and take a bus for approx. 20 minutes. |
