Yugawara Bairin (plum grove) – Feast of Plum

Approximately 4,000 Japanese apricots with red and white flowers are in full glory, together forming a “carpet of plum”, the whole garden is surrounded in faint fragrance of plum.
Period Saturday, February 8 through Sunday, March 16th of 2014.
※ The period may be extended considering the flowering situation.
Opening hours: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Admission fees 200 yen (15 years or older * Except junior high student)
※ Can use Suica, PASMO.
Plum Grove Light-up: Saturday, March 1st through Marth 9th of 2014, start from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
※ During the light-up period, the admission is free.

During the “feast of the plum”, there are approximately 4,000 red and white plum flowers are in full bloom.
[season during beginning of February ~3 month] curtain mountain which is known for 626m above sea level, hiking and rock-climbing. Best Yugawara Bairin which kept beautiful nature of the foot alive, and was made in Japan. Flower of approximately 4,000 plums competes for the red-and-white beauty in the early spring, and annual “party of plum” is held with various events.
