Access by public transport: Take a Hakone-Izu bus from the “Hakone-Yumoto Station” of the Odakyu Line for 40 minutes, and get off at “Moto-Hakone” bus stop, from there walk for 10 minutes.

Hakone-jinja Shrine (Main shrine)
The shrine located at the lakeside is believed has a God who can take care of road safety, accomplish your pray, and also help you get rid of the bad luck. This is a very popular shrine even within the Hakone area, there are over 20 million tourists visit this shrine every year.

Many trees grow thick inside the Shrine, it is a famous location thought to be flowing with mystical energy. The buildings within the Shrine are surrounded by many Daiou cedars and tall stewartias trees, the cedar of Yatate was chosen as one of the 100 selections of the great trees of the prefecture. Trees surrounding the stone pavement spreading out to the main shrine are standing calmly.
Torii of Peace
This is a Torii floating in Lake Ashino. It was built in 1952, the red body of the Torii can be clearly seen from the sightseeing boats when passing through the lake.
