Atami Firework Show is an annual firework show with long history which was first held in 1952. Fireworks shows in Japan usually hold in summer season, however the Atami Firework Show holds more than 10 times each year that also include two times in winter season.
The show is held at Atami Bay which is in a basin terrain surrounded by mountains and the sea. Due to the tremendous sounds produced by the firework show that reflected by the mountains, it feels like seating in a huge stadium while watching the fireworks. This makes the show a very popular firework show in Japan even among firework professionals.
The sparks of the fireworks in the night sky, the reflections on the water, and the climax of the show Sky Niagara all make it an unforgettable memory for people who watching the show. Please come to Atami to enjoy this amazing winter event!
