The 10th Great Bread Forefather Festival

In order to commemorate Nirayama-daikan Mr. Tanan Egawa’s great achievement of making the first bread in Japan’s history, Izuno-kuni City Tourist Association will hold the 10th Great Bread Forefather Festival on January 16th Saturday and 17th Sunday, at Nirayama History Theater of Nirayama Culture Center.
The main event is called High school students Bread Making Contest which is consisted of three sub-contests: the California Raisin Bread Contest, the Local Products Local Consumption Contest, and the Hand-made Bread Contest.
